There are many changes this year to our Singleton Business Awards, new categories, change of venue and higher ceilings, it’s going to be a BIG night. With these changes comes a lot of excitement for our Businesses who we celebrate on the night, so along with those finalists, we are proud to announce in conjunction with School of Infantry, the first Annual Lone Pine Barracks Award for 'Excellence in Supporting the Local Veteran Community’ - Not-For-Profit Organisation

For just over 12 months now the award has been in discussion, and we have been working together with staff and the Senior ADF Officer at Lone Pine Barracks, to bring this award to our Gala Night. It is only fitting to introduce this Inaugural Award this year to mark The School of Infantry’s 50th Anniversary here in Singleton.

Over the past week we have given the community of Singleton the opportunity to contribute toward this award. Results from the survey will count toward 50% of the deciding vote between our 6 not-for-profit organisations. They include Soldier On, Singleton RSL Sub-Branch, Singleton Legacy Group, Singleton Defence Family Group and Singleton Diggers Playgroup, Singleton Partners of Veterans, and Open Arms.
