Small Business Resilience Workshop

We held our Small Business Resilience Workshop as part of the 2023 small Business Month focusing on 3 areas around resilience we feel important to small businesses.

We had John Gowan from Epi-Centre talk through the Legal Documentation & your  Business Structure. What legal documentation is required to continuing to operate your business should a crisis or change suddenly occur. He also mentioned and gave some key points regarding the Impacts on Business Operations when that crisis or change does occur, How will your business continue to operate and what is the succession plan for management and responsibilities.

Also Joining us was Janie Jordan from LivMedia, who gave us all powerful advise and key information for Effective Business Communication. Key points being - Trust, What your reputation is worth, Business Culture, and the key to effective communication – Who, what, when, where, why and How. She left us with a quote by Steve Jobs which rings true to businesses and the key to Effective Business Communication – “Effective communication is about more than just exchanging information. It’s about understanding the emotion and intentions behind the information.”
